AI Write, 13 languages, workflow improvements, and new features

When we decided to build Outranking, we only had one goal in mind, make SEO content creation stupid easy! It has taken years of experimentation and learnings to build Outranking and the amount of support our subscribers have shown is incredible. To keep the momentum going and deliver the most kick-ass features that can ACTUALLY make content creation easier, we are announcing the launch of Outranking 3.0.

List of Enhancements and New Features:

New Feature “AI Write” – Writing with GPT 3

Today’s release includes a new feature, AI Write.

Now you have the ability to use AI Write to create content, complete paragraphs or sentences and generate new ideas. 

AI Write will NOT consume any character from your monthly limits until this feature goes out of Beta. This means you can use this feature to create as much content as you want.

Over the next few days and weeks, we will add new templates to allow you to create certain parts of your content such as summaries, conclusions, overview, outline and even blog posts to a certain extend.

How to use AI Write

AI writes better when there is some context it can refer to. To let AI Write content for you, start writing 100-200 characters and give some context before running the AI feature. 

Currently it can generate 3 types of output: 

Short: 200 Characters

Medium: 400 Characters

AI writing is not a set-and-forget solution for content creation. When writing with AI you need to often give the AI some directions with your imputed text. The more precise your directions in the input text(content in the editor) are the better output you will get. 

The feature is launched in beta, meaning early stage. The output sometimes may not be what you desire. 

We are training the AI to better write SEO content, but it can take a few weeks of learning and tuning to achieve greatness (together). 

What to use AI Write for

AI writing is not a set-forget solution, but you can use the AI Writer to do the following things:

1. Complete sentences and paragraphs faster
2. Generate ideas for content you are struggling to write
3. And in many cases even let the AI write the first copy. (Be careful here, no AI is a replacement for human eye)

What not to do when using AI Write?

1. Go on a blind date with it
2. Give crap input or context (If you give crap, you get crap)
3. Don’t expect it to save the world, JUST YET.

Why is this feature in Beta?

This is a new technology, and it needs lots of data to train and improve. To train it better (already trained to a certain level), you need quality data. Collecting quality data takes time. 

In the coming weeks, you will see 10X improvements in the quality of content it generates as well as the speed at which AI Writes and delivers content.

So beta means keep just a little Patience.

New Feature – Support for 13 Languages (Beta)

In Outranking 3.0 we have added support for the following languages:

1. English
2. Arabic
3. Danish
4. Dutch
5. Finnish
6. French
7. German
8. Greek
9. Italian
10. Polish
11. Portuguese
12. Russian
13. Spanish

This has especially been a challenge since creating rewriting features and testing out for different languages can take time.

Outranking platform data will now support all of the languages in SEO content editor, Related Keywords, Topic coverage, Instructions, Rewriting and AI writing.

We are releasing this feature in beta and have planned for NLP enhancements in the coming weeks.

UI Redesign of Questions

We have completely redesigned our questions feature. You can now sort questions by Question type and source.

New Feature – Team management settings

There have been some major changes to workflow and team management features. 

With this release, you will now have the ability to assign quotas to your team members. 

Click on settings and then add the number of documents and characters each member can use per month.

New Feature – Team sharing

Now team members can share documents within the team. 

The document creator can give View or Edit permissions to other team members.

New Feature – Toolbar enhancements in editor

We concised the header bar controls and added the content formatting and rewriting controls in a tooltip popup on selection of content. This will improve productivity by not having to jump hoops.

New Feature – Related Keywords in editor

We added the ability to see the usage of keywords in Paragraphs and not only the most important SEO elements. This will give content marketers a better idea about keyword coverage.

If you use a particular keyword in content, you will see a small “C” icon next to related keywords data.

New Feature – Outline Builder in sections

We added extended ability to filter out the Outlines based on the Highest frequency keywords data. This will help you find all relevant topics around one keyword from all SERP’s. You can also multi select keywords and narrow down the outlines

New Feature – Document Title

Now you have the ability to add the document (content) title when you create a new SEO document. You can also go to the list page and click on the edit icon to change the title.

Bug fixes

Safari – Fix for breaking editor view in Safari browser and content not displaying.

Team – Fix for team invitation emails and activation error.

Questions – Fix in keyword questions with double question marks

Performance – We noticed some performance issues related to the amount of data loaded on slow networks. We are now streaming data to improve performance.
