How Outranking Helps Content Teams Collaborate Efficiently

Outranking SEO Content Editor has several functionalities that allow users to add new team members into their Outranking accounts. Or directly share your SEO documents to people outside of the Outranking system like your clients and VA(s).

How to add team members

Purchasing additional members for Single User Account

  1. Inside your Outranking account, click the dropdown button beside your name at the top right corner of your screen.

2. Select **Settings** from the dropdown list.

3. Once you are on your profile settings page, click the **Team** functionality located at the left side of your screen, right under **Profile**.

4. Click the **Invite** button and you will be brought to a subscription page where you can pay for your new user. Every user you bring in if you are holding a non-Team account is $39/month/user

Team Account

  1. Log in to your Outranking account and click the dropdown button beside your name at the top right corner of your screen, and then select **Settings**.

2. Once you are on your profile settings page, click the **Team** functionality located at the left side of your screen, right under **Profile**.

3. Click the **Invite** button and a prompt will appear.

4. Enter the new user’s information such as First and Last name, Email(blue box). Then hit the **Invite** button(green box).

How to assign a quota to team members

  1. Click the dropdown button beside your name at the top right corner of your screen, and then select **Settings**.

2. Once you are on your profile settings page, click the **Team** functionality to see the list of your team members enrolled in your Outranking team account.

3. In the **Action** column, click the gear button beside each of your team members.

4. When the **Assign Limits** prompt appears, start assigning how many SEO documents they can create in a month and the number of characters they can use.

Note that team members can only view and access the SEO documents they created or directly shared with them.


Sharing documents within the team

The only time that a team member can view someone else’s SEO document is if it was directly shared with them.  Follow these steps in sharing SEO document with your team members:

  1. Log in to your Outranking account. Then, click the gear button beside the SEO document you want to share with your team members.

2. When the **Share Document** prompt appears, select the user you want to share your SEO document with.

3. Select whether you want to give them **View** or **Edit** right to the document.

4. If you want to share it with several team members, just click the + button so you can select more users. And then, click **Save**.

The team members you added to the document will be able to see it in the **Shared with me** folder.

Sharing documents with Clients and VA

This functionality allows you to share your SEO documents with people who are not Outranking members so you can collaborate with them.

  1. Log in to your Outranking account and open an SEO document you want to share.

2. Click the share icon at the top right corner of your Editor.

3. When the **Share Document** prompt appears, enter the email of the person you want to collaborate with, give them **View** or **Edit** access. And then hit the **Send** button.

4. You can send it to multiple people at once by clicking the + button so more emails will appear.

Note that the AI Write functionality is not available to external team members.
